MARY DEAN TAYLOR, Director, Play More Productions
Mary is directing 25 years of executive management experience toward a new venture: she is the owner and "Old Salt" at Salt and Olive, a specialty foods shop (and passionate foodie destination) in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Having achieved success in the athletic and casual footwear/apparel industry, her leadership experience includes team-building, overseeing new product launches and channel extensions, maintaining and motivating staff through change, and full profit and loss responsibility. Mary has held senior management positions with PUMA, Ryka, Reebok, Converse, and Stride-Rite. A leader whose philosophy balances doing well with doing good, Mary revived the philanthropic arm of Ryka, Inc. while serving as its president and led the transition to “green development”/sustainability in her roles at Dansko, One7 LLC, and PUMA. Mary is a member of the board of directors of Row One Brands. She has a passion for the arts, the environment, social justice —and believes that food=love.
