Puerto Rican singer and actor Christian Figueroa graduated from Syracuse University and received his Masters in Music from the New England Conservatory of Music.  Christian has delighted audiences with his unique combination of vocal and dramatic skills in performances ranging from the stage to the recital hall. Christian recently returned from New York, where he was recording & performing for Carnegie Hall in "The Orchestra Rocks" & "The Orchestra Sings" concerts.  Christian sang the national anthem at Fenway Park representing the Peace Corps for its 50th Anniversary Celebration. He recently performed and recorded the role of Antigonus in the opera THE WINTER'S TALE with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, it can be heard and the BMOP Sound Record Label.  Christian is the tenor soloist in the Handel & Haydn Educational Outreach Quartet, and with them he sang the tenor solos in the “Gloria” from Mozart’s CORONATION MASS at the Boston Symphony Hall. Christian also stays active in the commercial world and can be seen in commercials for the Connecticut State Lottery, KFC, United Airlines, Pearl Vision, Orbit Gum, The Hartford, Penn Foster College, Anton's Cleaners, Atlantic Broadband, and The Boston Road Calling Card. Christian has been featured on CNN's "Career Connections" and on the People En Español Website. Recent performances include playing the role of Señor Alcade in the opera THE SUMMER KING with Portland Ovations, his solo show ROMANCE at the Metropolitan Room in New York City, Britten's NOYE'S FLUDDE, and IL CONTE IVREA in Verdi's UN GIORNO D REGNO with Odyssey Opera. Upcoming performances include a return to CARNEGIE HALL in "THE ORCHESTRA MOVES" this May, and his solo concerts in Wellesley, MA on March 14th & San Juan Puerto Rico on April 25th 2015.
